Consumers of more than 50 countries have been already acquainted with Ukrainian flour. The leaders of Ukrainian flour imports are the CIS countries, the Near and Middle East and Central Asia regions , Rodion Rybchinskiy, editor-in-chief of the periodical "Storage and processing of grain", said on October 3 during the Seventh International Conference "Grain industry 2008", according to APK-Inform.
According to R.Rybchinskiy, during 8 months of 2008, Ukraine exported over 190.000 tonnes of flour, up 100% compared to the whole 2007 year.
At the same time, Ukrainian flour industry has several problems which prevent from entering the world market, especially lack of knowledge about foreign economic activity and imperfection of production technologies. The domestic market of Ukrainian millers faces the absence of stable grain quality, governmental pressure and growth of fuel prices.
