Ukraine`s central bank on Friday lifted a restriction capping the level of banks` lending, one of several measures introduced last week to stabilise the banking system.
But a central bank resolution said banks cannot increase their lending portfolios to companies that don`t have foreign currency resources.
"(Banks) may extend credits in foreign currency to borrowers with no foreign currency earnings only within the limits of debt established at this date," the resolution said. "All other credits, banks can give under normal rules."
