There are no reasons to devalue the Ukrainian currency, which has slumped in recent weeks due to "panic", but the central bank will meet on Monday to discuss a new way of establishing its rate, a senior bank official said, Reuters reported.

Anatoly Shapovalov, first deputy head of the central bank, told journalists on Friday that the bank could force exporters to sell their dollars on the interbank market but that this would be a last resort.
