Nikopolskiy Ferroalloy Plant OJSC (NZF) will suspends its production since November 1 due to problems with sales.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, plant’s director general Volodymyr Kutsyn claimed this in his statement publicized by Dnipropetrovsk Oblast mass media.
According to V.Kutsyn, today NZF cannot sell ferroalloys due to lack of demand at the market.
The director general specified that in September the plant produced 35 thousand tons of ferroalloys, half of them remained at the storehouse.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Nikopolskiy Ferroalloy Plant OJSC is the Ukraine’s biggest enterprise for production of ferroalloys (silicomanganese and ferromanganese). Its ferroalloy furnaces are the biggest in the world. The annual amount of sales made average 800 thousand tons of ferroalloys.
