Ukraine interested in cooperation with Denmark

Today Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev met with Denmark’s Prince Joachim. “Ukraine shows great interest in the development of cooperation with Denmark in different spheres of economics,” stressed Andriy Klyuyev, according to the press-office of the Cabinet of Ministers. The discussion process dealt with prospects of trade-economic cooperation, broadening of bipartite partnership in the areas of agriculture and agricultural machine-building. His Majesty Denmark’s Prince Joachim said:” I believe that agricultural industry of Denmark will definitely benefit from closer cooperation with Ukrainian colleagues.”
The parties to the meeting, emphasizing the fact that Danish investment amounts in Ukraine’s agriculture take the second place and none of about 200 Danish investor-companies has wound up making business in our country, agreed about the importance of further development of investment into the agrarian sector and the need to enlarge investment projects into various fields of Ukrainian economics, such as fuel and energy complex, mechanical engineering, construction and ecology.
“Creation of transparent and favorable conditions is one of the priorities in investment policy of Ukrainian Government,” noted Vice Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev. He hailed international conference “Development of Ukrainian agriculture and food industry” held in Ukraine with active participation of Danish entrepreneurs. The participants stressed positive attitude towards proposition of Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister to hold investment forum in Ukraine with wide participation of representatives from different Danish business circles.
