Police admit that they “cover” prostitutes, saunas, and wildcat trading

The Kyiv police leadership admits facts of “covering” the sex-industry and wildcat trading in the city.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Vitaliy Yarema, head of the Kyiv City Directorate of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, claimed this in an interview with journalists.

According to him, a large number of Kyiv saunas provide sex-services for their clients from time to time. At the same time, V.Yarema vowed to take “every sauna” under supervision, and noted that some policemen “cover” the activities of such saunas.

The Kyiv police chief stressed that the same concerns the places of wildcat trading, including trading in counterfeited products.

“In my opinion, everything takes place there with permission of the local police”, he stressed.
