MPs may disrupt the heating season

The Verkhovna Rada endangers the beginning of heating season having banned to raise utility tariffs for people, according to Ukrayinka Pravda.

As was earlier reported 340 deputies decided to keep the utility tariffs as of January 1, 2006.

The difference between the real service cost and amount paid by people falls upon the local budgets and needs revising of the State Budget-2006.

Local budgets will face huge problems trying to find extra money to pay for the gas and electricity in time.

To smooth the difference the Budget has to allocate UAH 2 billion in order not to disrupt the heating season.
