Banks may sell currency only from 10.00 to 14.00
The c.bank issued a resolution
The central bank of Ukraine, with its resolution #435 “On Operation of Inter-Bank Currency Market of Ukraine” dated December 22, 2008, toughened rules of trade in foreign currency.
In line with the resolution, forwarded to UNIAN, the banks have to carry out purchase and sale operations in foreign currency at the inter-bank market only during the time of operation of the c.bank’s System for Confirming Agreements at the inter-bank currency market of Ukraine.
At the same time, banks are allowed to carry out operations with their own clients only during 10.00 – 14.00 by Kyiv time. The banks carry out operations between themselves during 14.00 – 16.00 by Kyiv time.
