Russia`s Gazprom will allow observers to monitor transit of gas via Ukraine if a multi-lateral monitoring commission is created, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said on Friday, Reuters reported.

"In the event that a multi-lateral commission for monitoring gas transit through Ukrainian territory is created, Gazprom will, off course, provide the opportunity for the work of commission observers at gas-measuring stations in Russia on the border with Ukraine," Miller said in a statement.
