Ukrainian army ready for introduction of martial law – Defense Ministry
The Ukrainian army is ready for a possible declaration of martial law in case of an open armed aggression by the Russian Federation, Deputy Defense Minister Ihor Pavlovskiy said, according to LIGA.net.
"If the martial law is introduced, the Armed Forces are ready to meet the requirements of the state leadership on the transition to full-time use. There are no problems there," Liga.net quoted Pavlovskiy as saying.
According to Deputy Defense Minister, over three years of the undeclared Russian war against Ukraine, "almost the whole" structure of transferring the army to operate in the martial law regime has been "fully worked out."
