Ukraine has all opportunities to independently complete the An-70 project.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Industrial Policy Minister Volodymyr Shandra claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.

“Ukraine has all opportunities – both technological and financial – to independently finish this project [An-70]”, the Minister said.

According to him, presently the Russian side owes almost 40 million dollars of financing on this project.

In this connection, the Minister noted that the Ukrainian side will initiate raising a question about the further participation of Russia in the project at the regular session of Yushchenko-Putin commission.

“We need a clear answer: whether Russia works with us or not”, he said.

At the same time, he disclosed that a project of further developing “Antonov” corporation is being worked out. Its presentation is scheduled for April.
