Donetsk Oblast governor sent in resignation

As local economic situation is too bad.

Donetsk Oblast State Administration chief Vadym Chuprun sent in his resignation due to transferring to another work.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov claimed this to a government session today.

“Donetsk Oblast State Administration chairman Chuprun asked to transfer to another work, and sent in his resignation. The President will be informed about his statement, and today I will sign the order to dismiss Chuprun from the post of the governor”, the Prime Minister said.

He noted that the today’s session of the government listened to the report about the social-economic situation in the Donetsk region. The report was delivered by deputy Economics Minister Serhiy Romanenko, representatives of the Finance Ministry and the State Tax Administration.
