25 people hurt in bank blast in southern Ukraine

Twenty five people, including two children, have been hurt in an explosion at a Savings Bank office in Melitopol city of the Zaporizhzhya Oblast on Tuesday morning. Sixteen people were hospitalized in various conditions.
According to the Emergency Situations Ministry’s press-service, so far it is unclear what caused the blasts. Experts and police investigators are working on the site. The area of the incident has been sealed off by police. Ambulances, Emergency Situations Ministry personnel and local officials are at the crime scene.
The bank’s office is situated on the ground floor of a 9-storey apartment building. Reports from Melitopol say that before the explosion, two men with packages entered the office. One of them left the package at the entrance, and another – in the bank`s office. After the men left the building, there were two explosions.
