Twenty-nine hectares of forest are burning in the Petrykivskiy district of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, at the territory of Dniprodzerzhynsky Forestry state-owned enterprise.
According to the local directorate of the Ukraine’s Ministry of Emergency, the fire broke out at around 19.00 on Thursday. The fire has enveloped 4 hectares of the upper forest and 25 hectares of the lower forest. Rescue brigades of the Emergency Ministry and the local forestry contained the fire at around 23.00 on June 11.
80 rescuers, 25 fire machines are involved in extinguishing the fire.
The cause of the fire and losses are being established.
