Tymoshenko urgently leaves for natural disaster zone

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko urgently leaves for the disaster area in the Volyn Oblast.

According to the government’s press-office, the government has set up an operative headquarters for liquidation of the natural disaster consequences in the Volyn Oblast. The headquarters is headed by Yulia Tymoshenko.

The Cabinet of Ministers will hold an extraordinary session on the issue at 19.00.

As UNIAN reported earlier, due to a natural disaster, tens of settlements were cut off from the country’s energy grid in the Volyn Oblast on June 10. Thunderstorms and squalls damaged roofs of private houses.
