Victor Yushchenko has offered sympathy to the family of Jack Palance (Volodymyr Palahnyuk), a famous Oscar-winning actor of Ukrainian descent, who died aged 87 on November 10 in Los Angeles, according to the President`s press-office.
“Ukraine has all the reasons to be proud of him, for he never forgot his Ukrainian roots,” he wrote. “Like millions of people all over the world, Ukrainians admire his talent. He will always stay in our memory.”
