Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Baloha demands that Viktor Yanukovych’s government make its decisions in a more transparent way, according to the President`s press-office.
At their November 1 meeting, the ministers considered 11 of 46 points on their agenda publicly. Thus, 70% of the issues were discussed secretly, non-transparently and without proper expertise. In addition, 16 points were included in the plan during the meeting, which is a violation of the procedure rules.
According to item 3 of clause 3 of the Temporary Procedure Rules of the Cabinet of Ministers, plans of cabinet meetings and all related materials have to be sent to those invited to these meetings two days beforehand.
The President of Ukraine sent a letter with the same request to the government on November 10 but has received no reply yet.
