Prime Minister urges Gazprom and RosUkrEnergo to define joint policy

Ukraine is ready to develop the policy of gas supply to Ukraine with Gazprom and RosUkrEnergo in 2007 and next years, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych said at a meeting between chiefs of the energy sector of the Ukrainian government and Gazprom and RosUkrEnergo CEOs on Friday, according to the press-office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In his opinion, the parties could elaborate a joint strategy for the mid-term perspective.

The Ukrainian Head of Government stated his satisfaction with the cooperation level between Gazprom and RosUkrEnergo. He appreciated stable gas supply to Ukraine at stable prices, noting the importance of the issue for consumers, economy and all citizens of Ukraine.
