Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk will visit Czechia, Vietnam, Italy, Vatican, Spain, Slovenia, Norway and the Russian Federation in 2007, according to Ukrayinska Pravda.

“The list is incomplete, as in practice it enlarges yearly,” said Mr.Tarasyuk, according to Novosti Ukrayina periodical.

The Foreign Minister recalled that he had visited 42 countries and received 31 foreign ministers from friendly countries in 2006.

Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan, Rumania, Sweden, Morocco, India, and Pakistan are going to visit Ukraine this year.

But Mr.Tarasyuk complains that the government has not allocated enough money for foreign agencies’ activity.

As was reported earlier, The Verkhovna Rada by 247 voices dismissed Mr.Tarasyuk from foreign minister on December 1, 2006. But the President obliged him to keep working.

On December 5, 2006 the Shevchenko District Court suspended the Verkhovna Rada decision on Mr.Tarasyuk’s dismissal.
