President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko “is ready to sign an initiative to restore the economic development areas”. He claimed this in Donetsk yesterday at a meeting with local officials.
According to the President, Ukraine needs areas of economic development.

He stressed that it was a mistake to close free economic zones, because local governments and Oblast State Administrations “had enough gears to respond to defects in organizing the work of this or that economic zone”.
The President assured that he is ready to outline a special initiative for every economic zone.
