Kyiv is under snow: city is on verge of transport collapse

The heavy snowfall, which went all yesterday afternoon, put Kyiv on the verge of transport collapse.

According to “Levyi bereg” newspaper, there is no official information yet about condition of transport communications of the capital, however Kyiv citizens at their blogs write that they have been clearing for several hours yards and dug out their cars from snowdrifts. It is said about 25 centimeters layer of precipitation. Some Kyiv citizens complain about absence of electricity in some districts.

As it was  reported earlier, heavy snowfall last week all over Ukraine blocked main roads and entrances to cities.
