Cabinet of Ministers will probably increase quotas for export of feed grain from Ukraine, informed Minister of Agrarian Policy, Yuri Melnik, according to AgriMarket.

According to him Government can review volumes of export quotas for feed grain only after results of domestic stocks of grains estimations.

He also noticed that nowadays companies restarted grain export after receiving corresponding licenses.

As it was informed before Ukraine imposed quotas for grain export till the end of marketing year (July 2006-June 2007) in the volume of 1.106 mln tonnes, including wheat and rye - 3.000 tonnes to each one accordingly, barley - 600.000 tonnes, maize - 500.000 tonnes.

Government argued quotas introduction as necessity to provide food security of the country.

According to preliminary data grain harvest reduced by 9.9% in 2006 in Ukraine as compared to 2005 - to 34.3 mln tonnes (in clean weight).
