President’s best wishes for St. Valentine’s Day

Victor Yushchenko has offered his best wishes to Ukrainians celebrating Saint Valentine’s Day, according to the President`s press-office.

      “I would like to wish all Ukrainian families and people in love to feel united, joyful and happy in their homes and families,” he told reporters at one of the central markets in Kyiv, where he was buying flowers for his wife and daughters.

      “I have just returned from a trip [to Turkmenistan] and I think my wife and girls will be pleasantly surprised if I come home with flowers,” he said. “Today we all have another occasion to give presents to our family and feel that we are together. It is very important to any family.”
