No international terrorist organizations operate at Ukrainian territory – SBU
Though there are foreigners who share terrorist views
As of today, none of the international terrorist organizations operates in Ukraine. SBU chief’s spokes woman Maryna Ostapenko claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, at the same time, she added that some foreigners, natives of the Near East, Northern Caucasus, and Northern African countries, who share the ideological principles of the international terrorist organizations, are recorded in Ukraine.
M.Ostapenko recalled that the SBU (the Ukrainian Security Service) follows in its activities the consolidated list of the UN Security Council, which includes 57 terrorist organizations, 325 natural persons, and 59 legal entities.
To avoid international terrorist structures in Ukraine, last year 34 foreigners, connected with these organizations, were not allowed to enter the Ukrainian territory.
