During the joint sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Union of Industrials and Entrepreneurs Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych told about establishment of new government committee on economic reforms, according to the government’s press-office. The respective decision will be adopted, according to Viktor Yanukovych, at the enlarged Government sitting, slated for March 21, 2007.
As the Prime Minister stressed, establishment of the committee is caused by demands of the times, necessity of the system reforms. According to him, economic reforms are furthered today by efficient cooperation between the Government and Parliament. Viktor Yanukovych expressed hope that the President of Ukraine “will join at the least and most likely head the process of economic reforms”.
