Sowing campaign is suggested to be successful

Sowing campaign will be finished in time. At present area planted with crops totaled 15 mln ha from 17.8 mln ha according to the schedule, reported Alexander Baranovsky, Minister of Agrarian Policy, on the 11th of May, according to APK-Inform.

According to him, 2.8 mln ha remained to be sown, including 1.2 mln ha - maize for grain, 0.5 mln ha - groats and about 0.7 mln ha - sunflower.

Also, Minister confirmed the forecast of grains yield in Ukraine at 38 mln tonnes.
