Because of high temperature, 47 ton of fish died in Sea of Azov

The Ministry of Emergency received information that in the Berdyansk region of the Zaporozhzhya Oblast, between Kulikovskoe and Novopetrovka village, 47 ton of dead fish (bullhead) were discovered.

      According to the press-service of the Ministry of Emergency, the fish probably died because of the abnormally high water temperature, as a result of which the content level of oxygen in the water reduces.

      Emergencuy Ministry`s subdivisions, group of local municipal service employees, Sanitary Epidemiologic Servcies specialists and ecologists were involved in clearing out the seashore.

      The situation is under the supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Zaporozhzhya Oblast Directorate.
