Yushchenko left for Azerbaijan with working visit

To take part in second Summit of GUAM

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko left for Republic of Azerbaijan with working visit in order to take part in the Second Summit of the Democratic and Economic Development Organization – GUAM, which will take place in Baku.

According to the press-service of the Head of the State, it is planned that today, on 18th of June, V.Yushchenko will hold bilateral meetings with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Lithuania Vladas Adamkus and President of Poland Lech Kaczyński.

Also it is planned to hold a meeting in the format of GUAM – Poland.

Tomorrow, on 19th of June, the President of Ukraine will take part in plenary session of the Summit GUAM, where his speech is planned.

After the finish of the work of Summit the ceremony of signing of “Baku Declration of the Summit of Democratic and Economic Development Organization – GUAM” is planned.

The document will sign the Presidents of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Prime Minister of Moldova. After the ceremony of signing their press conference is planned.
