345 criminal cases were opened against Transport Ministry in 2007

Viktor Bezkorovainy, head of the law enforcement department of the presidential secretariat, has said Ukrainian prosecutors have opened 345 criminal cases against the country’s transportation ministry in 2007, according to the President`s press-office.

He said Transportation Minister Mykola Rudkovsky “has derailed” his ministry, whose state is “highly unsatisfactory,” and added that the minister’s lack of competence and professionalism “damages the economy of Ukraine as transit state.”
