According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yuri Yekhanurov claimed this, opening the government session today.

“I believe that such words [macroeconomic forecasts] of specialists of Mr. Lemierre from EBRD are a good challenge for me as for the Prime Minister as well as for a professional economist”, he said.

The Prime Minister proposed to make a kind of bet: should the EBRD forecasts not come true, EBRD will channel to Ukraine a credit at 100 million euro per every tenth of the Ukraine’s GDP growth for developing the innovative technologies.

Should the EBRD forecast come true, the Prime Minister is ready, as professor of the National Taras Shevchenko University, to mention the high professional qualities of EBRD specialists at every lecture.
