Ukraine has signed a bilateral protocol with Egypt as part of its accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Ukrainian Economy Ministry`s press service told RBC. The accord was signed thanks to the joint work carried out to align national legislation to WTO norms and principles in the sphere of services, the liberalization of the tariff policy, bringing the legislation on technical barriers and sanitary and phytosanitary measures in line with the system of agreements within the Uruguay Round multilateral trade talks, which corresponds to the interests of the Ukrainian economy.

As of today, Ukraine has completed talks with 47 member-states of the Working Party reviewing Ukraine`s application for its accession to the WTO. Ukraine is currently in talks with three countries to agree technical aspects of signing protocols in the near future.
