The Days of NATO will be held in the Lviv Institute of Land Troops named after hetman Petro Sahaydachny and in the Kharkiv University of Air Forces named after Ivan Kozhedub during November 4-7.
According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry, the measures will be carried out in line with the Ukraine-NATO Target Plan for the year 2007, the Working Plan of the Ukraine-NATO Military Committee for the current year, and the order of the Prime Minister of Ukraine relating the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Charter on special partnership between Ukraine and NATO.
The NATO Days will be carried out with the support of representatives of the NATO Strategic HQ for transformation, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, and the Military Representative Office of the Ukraine Mission at NATO.
The aim of measure is to increase the level of knowledge about the structure and targets of NATO among students and employees of the above-mentioned higher educational establishments.
