Families of dead miners at Zasyadko mine to receive compensation

The second meeting of the State Commission on man-caused-ecological safety and emergencies chaired by Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych took place, according to the government’s press-office. Secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense Ivan Plyushch and Head of the Presidential Secretariat Viktor Baloha participated in the meeting.

During its meeting the Commission considered the process of rescue works on liquidation of the accident and its consequences as well as providing aid to the victims and their families.

It was decided at the meeting to pay 100 thousand UAH as compensation to every family of dead miners at the colliery.
