Yushchenko encourages mines` safety law

During his interview in Donetsk President said that miners’ safety should come at first place, according to the President`s press-office.

Of great importance he sees the approval of the law regulating coal production in the mines where potential methane leak is possible.

“At government level we should make urgent steps towards the approval of this law”, said V. Yushchenko. He also expressed hopes that this law shall answer the need to “correct national coal industry policy”.
