President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, with his decree, appointed Yuri Andriychuk on the post of the Zhytomyr Oblast State Administration chairman.

Yuri Andriychuk was born on 26 September 1948 in the Zhytomyr Oblast.
He graduated from the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (1971) and the Kharkiv State Academy of City Economy (1998).
Since August of 1994 he headed the Zhytomyr Western Enterprise of Electricity Networks. During 1998-2001 he headed the board of “Zhytomyroblenerho” OJSC. During 2001-2003 he was deputy state secretary of the Fuel-Energy Ministry of Ukraine.
Since July of 2004, he was a member of the National Commission for Energy Regulation of Ukraine.
