The main task of the government for the next year must be to overcome the negative foreign trade balance.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, acting Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych claimed this to a session of the Cabinet of Ministers today.
“It is quite real to do next year”, Victor Yanukovych stressed.
The acting Prime Minister noted that the best foreign trade balance, as of today, is between Ukraine and Russia, which is the biggest trade partner of Ukraine.
According to him, the export to Russia has grown by 2.5 times, and the import – by 50%. “It is a very important showing, and if we keep on the rate, it will allow us to significantly trim the negative balance of the foreign trade”, Victor Yanukovych pointed out.
He noted that the government’s economic bloc is due to consider top-priority laws, which will allow the economics moving forward.
“As soon as the parliament begins to work, we should find a common language with the President towards all these directions”, Victor Yanukovych stressed.
