150 skiers hung for 6 hours over camping site in Lviv Oblast

A chair lift, elevating skiers to Vysokiy Verkh mountain, was broken at “Zahar Berkut” camping site in the Skolivskyi district of the Lviv Oblast at 12.45 pm on Monday, leaving 150 people in the chairs at the height.

According to the preliminary data, the hoist reducer shafting of the chair lift broke down.

According to the information of the Emergency Ministry, at 18.35, its local rescue subdivisions and Volosyanskyi mountain search-and-rescue station of Lviv mountain search-and-rescue brigade, took off the people from the chairs of the ropeway. No tourists were injured.
