Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko forecasts a huge resistance when the parliament will be adopting amendments to some legislative documents on privatization.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this to journalists at a press conference today.
“I expect a colossal resistance, because the people, who are private owners of politicians and officials, will never treat calmly the introduction of transparent procedures into the privatization system. They will keep on believing that they chose strategic objects for themselves, and they will take these objects, striking deals with certain directors of these or that bodies. I want to assure you that, working as the Prime Minister and heading the government, I will not allow any backroom agreement on privatization”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
She hopes the coalition will back her amendments to legislative acts on privatization.
