She said a respective statement was made yesterday by Russian Federation Top Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov.

She disclosed that a number of talks was held on this issue with the Russian side.

“Due to the talks, which were held also by telephone and through our representatives on Saturday and Sunday, the Russian side said from the lips of To Deputy Prime Minister Ivanov that they will not cut natural gas supplies to Ukraine. This is a very pleasant news, because as early as today we may calm down Ukraine – there will be no gas cuts, there is no reason to do that. We do not have any contracts with Russia or with RosUkrEenrgo, and we did not take not a bit of natural gas”, Yulia Tymoshenko claimed.

She informed that since Sunday, a delegation of Naftogaz Ukrayiny NJSC, headed by company’s CEO Oleh Dubyna, has been holding talks in Moscow with Gazprom.
