Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine exceeds 18,200 on May 17

The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine exceeded 17,800 on Sunday morning.

In particular, there were 18,291 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of 09:00 Kyiv time on May 17, according to the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

Of them, 433 cases were reported in the past 24 hours, which was 95 cases down from May 16 (528 cases).

A total of 514 COVID-19 deaths have already been recorded in the country, with 17 reported in the past 24 hours.

Some 5,116 patients have recovered, including 210 over the past day.

There are 45,038 people with suspected COVID-19 in Ukraine now, the report said.
