A full lockdown is possible in Ukraine if the situation with the coronavirus becomes such that doctors will have to choose who to save and who not to save.

This was announced by head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, Medical Assistance and Health Insurance Mykhailo Radutsky during the "Right to Power" talk show, according to the TV news service TSN.

"A full lockdown – believe me, I really don't want us to even talk about it – but a full lockdown is possible when, God forbid, the triage protocol starts working. The triage protocol is a lockdown of the healthcare system. And this is the automatic lockdown of the country. When a doctor should will choose who to save and who not. This is a disaster. This is a disaster for the whole country," Radutsky said.
