Health minister: Over 11,800 children, 14,000 healthcare workers contract COVID-19

Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov says 11,870 children and 14,025 healthcare workers have contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19) since the start of the pandemic.

"In the past day, 2,884 people tested positive for the coronavirus, including 206 children and 120 healthcare workers. Some 504 new patients were hospitalized. There were 59 deaths and 1,717 recoveries," he said at a briefing on September 22, as reported by the Health Ministry on Facebook.

As many as 79,901 patients have already recovered.
