Infrastructure issues will be high on the agenda of the Ukrainian-Polish Euro 2012 Coordinating Council, Deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleksandr Chalyy told reporters on Monday, according to the President`s press-office.
He said the governments of Ukraine and Poland would craft a Euro 2012 frame agreement by September 15. “I am convinced that our next meeting will focus on this agreement, infrastructure and financial issues,” he said, adding that the Coordinating Council would next meet in two months in Poland.
Chalyy said it was really important to attract EU funds for Euro 2012 and added that Poland had more opportunities for this. He said Ukraine may receive some of this money to develop its border crossing stations.
