Platoon commander of a militant unit of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" ("DPR"), Alexander Novikov, aka "Tolstiy," has been killed in Donbas.

"Novikov Alexander Alexandrovich, aka 'Tolstiy,' (born in Donetsk, 07/01/81) became 'Cargo 200' 04/04/18," blogger Necro Mancer wrote on Twitter.

The death of the militant is proved by condolences expressed to his relatives in social networks.

The terrorist's information was in Ukraine's Myrotvorets (Peacekeeper) Center database, which lists individuals who pose a threat to the country's security.
