According to Ukraine’s military press center Russian general Sergey Kuzovlev is leading regular Russian army forces, directing militants and coordinating the flow of weapons from Russia to militant-held parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Ukrainian officials claim that the general was deployed to Ukrainian east after the Kremlin suffered defeats of its proxy army against Ukrainian troops, Ukraine Today reports.

It was earlier reported that some 9,000 Russian troops are located on Ukrainian territory.
