Donbas warzone update: Ukraine reports 11 enemy attacks in past day
Russian-led forces mounted 11 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past 24 hours.
"No Ukrainian army casualties were reported in the past day. According to intelligence reports, two invaders were killed and another one was wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 7, 2019.
During the period under review, the Russian occupation forces opened fire from mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms at the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Pisky, Vodiane, Krymske, Vilniy, Pivdenne, Zhovanka, and Stanytsia Luhanska.
At the same time, Ukrainian troops destroyed an enemy Ural truck.
"Since Thursday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
