Ukrainian soldiers on the frontline of the conflict near Mariupol in Donetsk region are still fighting every day with Russian-backed militants, despite a ceasefire having been signed last month in Minsk.
Ukrainian soldiers say that the tranquility of between-battle life at their posts is deceptive, as attacks by Russian-backed insurgents can come any moment, Ukraine Today reports.
The strategic port city of Mariupol is believed by many to remain the main target for the pro-Russian militants, who have threatened several times in the past to attack and capture the city.
The Ukrainian soldiers defending Mariupol say that they are prepared to take up arms in a wink.
