A member of the National Guard of Ukraine has been killed in a combat mission in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"While on a combat mission, a member of the National Guard of Ukraine sustained fatal injuries in the Joint Forces Operation zone on September 12," the JFO press center said on Facebook.

"The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. An ad hoc group of the military law enforcement service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the command of the military unit are working [as part of the investigation]," it said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed in action and another one was wounded in action amid enemy shelling in Donbas on September 11. The wounded soldier is in a critical condition.
