Ukraine displays $6 mln Russian spy drone shot down near Donetsk (Video)
Ukraine's SBU Security Service has presented to the press a UAV shot down over the village of Pisky in the Donbas on May 20, which appears to be a top-notch Russia-made model of limited production with a 250 km operational radius.
The drone was reportedly shot down by a Ukrainian Dnipro volunteer battalion after descending from 1,000 to 250 meters to conduct aerial reconnaissance. Distinguishing markings on the fuselage indicate that the drone originates from Russia, Ukraine Today reports.
The SBU says the Russian drone is yet more evidence of the Kremlin’s aggression in eastern Ukraine.
