'Russian-trained sabotage group' arrested in Kharkiv in connection with terror acts (Video)
Three Ukrainian citizens have been arrested in Kharkiv by special security forces on suspicion of committing terror acts after receiving training in sabotage in Russia.
The law enforcement officials believe that the three detainees are involved in blowing up railway lines and detonating IEDs near the city’s military drafting units and offices of various pro-Ukrainian volunteer organizations, Ukraine Today reports.
A wide range of weapons has been seized, from sniper rifles, to a flamethrower and grenades.
More subversive groups have been revealed and detained recently in cities including Odesa, Kharkiv and Kyiv in recent months. The perpetrators target government-controlled regions of Ukraine attempting to provoke public fear and anxiety.
The video is provided by the Security Service of Ukraine.
